A 17-year-old from LaSalle just got a huge speeding ticket and won't be able to drive for a while.
The SQ caught him doing 205km/h in a 50km/h zone on Highway 20 west at Angrignon around 2:15 a.m. Thursday morning.
He got a $958 ticket, which is the maximum fine for someone under 18. The teen also got 36 demerit points and had his license suspended for 7 days.
Since Monday, the SQ says it's handed out about 20 excessive speeding tickets, many to people doing more than 160km/h, in a 50km/h or 70km/h zone.
