A popular karaoke microphone is being recalled because it can burst into flames randomly.
The Rock Solo Bluetooth karaoke microphone, made by Tzumi Electronics, has been pulled from shelves after reports of the mic suddenly bursting into flames or melting.
A mother in Ontario spoke with CTV News after the mic blew up in her daughter's bedroom, causing a small fire. The woman said she suffered minor burns because of it.
"If I wasn't home, my whole house would've been on fire," Ashley Sawatzky told CTVNews.ca. "If that happened in the night, it's right beside my daughter's bed, we all could've been dead."
"If my daughter had that in her hands or was playing with it, it could've blown up right in her face."

A family in Nova Scotia told a local newspaper a similar incident happened to them one month earlier.
Sara Ford-Burke told the Chronicle Herald she and her family were out when the microphone burst into flames. Luckily Sara's brother was at their home and managed to use a glove to pat out the flames.
Wal-Mart, which sold the toy in Canada, said it had received three reported incidents.
The company estimates 70,000 mics were sold between November 2017 and January 2018, however more could have been sold online via retailers such as Amazon.
Anyone who purchased the microphone, or received one as a gift should immediately stop using it and return the product and any available packaging to their nearest Walmart.
