By daybreak on Tuesday, the price of a litre of regular gas in Montreal will have jumped again.
Some stations in town have already raised the price of a litre of regular to 132.9 cents — well over a dime more than where it was in most places on Monday morning.
Gas prices have been fluctuating between $1.20 and $1.32 or so for the last several weeks now. Typically, a spike is followed by a gradual decrease in the price at the pumps, but a cent or two a day until the next one happens, usually in a week's time.
