The mad dash is on.
The last Friday before Christmas is said to be the busiest for holiday shopping.
Surveys show a lot of shoppers wait until the last minute hoping for deals.
Marketing expert Tony Chapman has this take on the gift-buying sprint.
"We always seem to forget, we put everything off. Christmas seems to be that weird date, (where people ask), is it Monday or Tuesday? What days are we getting off? And at the last minute, it just catches up with you", said Chapman.
The average Quebecer will spend roughly $460 for the holidays.
