Quebec agriculture, fisheries and food ministry and city food inspection officials are warning consumers not to consume salmon products sold at a shop in Cote-des-Neiges, because it may pose a health risk.
The products in question were sold at Boucherie Atlantique, at 5060 Cote-des-Neiges Rd., and have a best-before date of Feb. 6 or earlier. It had been sold at the shop until its staff pulled the products yesterday.
The concern is that the products, labeled 'Atlantic', may not have been properly packaged.
No illnesses have been reported so far.
Anyone who has this product is being advised to return the product and not to eat it, even if it looks okay and doesn't smell funny.
