A couple in NDG wonders if there'll ever be a remedy to ice and snow on pavement during the winter.
Claudia Stroka was walking her dog Tuesday night and slipped and fell on the sidewalk outside her apartment.
She said she was fainting, and was in a lot of pain after breaking her wrist.
Stroka, who was put in a cast, wants what she calls decent snow clearing, that snow and ice are problem every year.
Côte-des-Neiges-NDG borough mayor Sue Montgomery tells CTV she wants to look into it.
"I feel terribly that people who injured themselves this winter, it's not easy when you break a bone, obviously," she said.
The city of Montreal's snow removal tracking data has shown the borough has been dead last in removing snow from its territory during such operations.
