Health Canada says it has seized a product promoted as a workout supplement from a Laval health food store.
Fluffy Unicorn had been available for purchase at Shop Santé Laval, but Health Canada says the product contains undeclared synephrine and higher levels of caffeine than declared. Synephrine and caffeine can cause serious and potentially fatal adverse effects when combined.
It is recommended that anyone who has purchased Fluffy Unicorn to not use it. Health Canada says anyone who has used the product should consult with a physician.
