If you're hoping to have a glass of wine at home during this snow-covered weekend, hopefully you already have a bottle at home.
Some SAQ outlets across the province are open due to a weekend-long strike by employees.
The provincial liquor monopoly says a small number of its stores will stay open over the next three days and be staffed by management — that list is available on their website, (see below).
The corporation also directed customers to order online, since their website is still delivering during the strike.
5,500 SAQ workers have been taking rotating strike days this fall as a pressure tactic while they negotiate a new agreement with management.
The union has received authorization to use 18 strike days.
