If you regularly use the Mercier Bridge, enjoy the ride while you can.
As of Friday, June 22 at 10:00 P.M. the provincially-owned portion of the Kahawake and Chateauguay bound side of the bridge will be completely closed until August 20.
The two-month work blitz is expected to restrict travel, with delays potentially reaching two hours.
The Airlie St. entrance to the Mercier Bridge will also be closed for June, July and August, with motorists instead being detoured via Lafleur Ave. and Clement St.
Buses will be able to access a reserved lane at Airlie between 7:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M.
If that wasn't enough to get your head aching, the entire span will be closed for several weekends over the summer and Lasalle Blvd. will also be shut down for a period.
