A ghost bike will be placed on the Camillien-Houde parkway this week to honour the memory of a cyclist who was struck and killed by an SUV October 4.
Ghost bikes are painted white and are placed as memorials at accident sites where cyclists have died.
18 year old Clement Ouimet was killed this month when he was struck and killed by a motorist who had made an illegal U-turn on Camillien-Houde.
Ghost Bike Montreal, a lobby group that advocates for safer streets says Ouimet's family agreed that the ghost bike would be placed at the same location as where the accident occurred.
The ceremony will take place Wednesday morning. (8am)
Details are available on the Ghost Bike Montreal Facebook page.
