On Good Friday, the price of a litre of regular gas in Montreal shot up to close to $1.30 — just in time for the Easter long weekend.
It was the second significant increase in the price of gas in the city in the same week — a rare move by the big oil companies.
And as it usually does, the price eased down over the last few days.
On Tuesday, it shot back up again at some Montreal-area gas stations.
By Wednesday morning, the price should be back up to $1.30 a litre — up about 10.5 cents.
