Just before the big snowstorm hits, the major oil companies are jacking up the prices at the pumps at Montreal's gas stations.
Some service stations in the city have raised their prices about a dime per litre — putting the price of a litre of regular gas up to 128.9.
The weekly gas price spike is expected to have been made everywhere by Tuesday morning's rush hour, before the price gradually recedes by a cent or so a litre per day.
