For the past seven years Terrebonne couple Maria Ciccarelli and Frank Mascaro have been madly in love, and have a child together.
Whenever the question of marriage would come up Maria said there was no real need to be married.
But, things change.
To make her boyfriend's day, Maria planned a fake emergency that brought the couple to their garage, where friends and family (and a CTV Montreal camera crew) were waiting just outside.
After the long-awaited proposal the couple boarded a bus and headed straight to the airport for a destination wedding in Cuba.
