It looks as though FP Innovations is on the move.
La Presse says the forest industry research group is preparing to leave its complex on Saint John's Boulevard in Pointe Claire for a new home in the Hubert Reeves eco-campus of the Technoparc just north of Trudeau Airport.
The move involves an investment of $140-million. La Presse says FP Innovations has an option to purchase about 30% of the eco-campus and will build high-rise offices and low-rise production facilities.
The report says the move is designed to position FP as an international centre of excellence in bio-products, which are materials created by mixing wood fibres with plastic.
