A former Quebec Finance minister says it's not true.
Carlos Leitao is denying he's running for the Liberals in next year's federal election.
Radio host and former PQ minister Bernard Drainville said Leitao has been approached by the federal Liberals.
Leitao, very popular within the Liberal party for cutting Quebec's debt and deficit, quickly denied it, saying he was elected on Oct. 1 to represent Quebecers in the riding of Robert Baldwin and isn't going anywhere.
