If you happen to use a BIXI bike to get yourself around town you're going to notice fewer stations available starting today.
The service announced because of the Formula E race that is invading the streets of downtown five stations need to be removed from July 21 to August 11.

Other events taking place over the summer, such as Montreal's Circus Festival, forced the temporary removal of three other stations:
They are set to return on July 28 after being removed on July 1.
"All our best efforts will be focused on making sure these changes impact your daily routines the least possible. We are currently working with all the key players in this issue in order to minimize the repercussions these stations' relocations will have on our services" BIXI said in a statement. "Besides, a station depot on the corner of Berri / de Maisonneuve is running 7 days a week, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., until mid August."
