Not too far from Montreal, some regions of Quebec saw their first flakes of snow during the overnight into Sunday.
Small traces of snow fell in areas of the Montérégie, in the l’Estrie and the Beauce region.
Because temperatures largely kept above the freezing mark, and thanks to the downpour of rain, the snow is now all gone from the ground.
Three days of rain around the province also caused some flooding in streams and rivers in the Beauce and Quebec City areas. The Famine, Chaudière, Beaurivage, Etchemin, du Sud, des Hurons, Jaune and Nelson rivers overflowed in some areas, causing minor flooding.
