Three Montreal firefighters were hospitalized while tackling the flames at a condominium complex fire in Pierrefonds on Sunday.
Six families at the Ceres Ave. complex were evacuated safely after the blaze broke out around 5:30 p.m. No occupants were injured.
The three firefighters suffered heat-stroke and had to be transported to hospital, according to the operations chief Martin Galarneau.
An investigation is ongoing although Gelarneau says indications are the blaze appears accidental.
The exact cause has still not been determined.
