Fire in the Plateau Friday evening, which was said to be under control.
Flames broke out in a living room of a triplex at 5270 de Bordeaux street, but all three floors had to be evacuated.
About 40 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
Roughly half a dozen residents were forced out, but were taken care of by the Red Cross.
Officials said the cause appeared to be accidental.
