Loto Quebec has developed a new way to separate you from your money.
It's launching electronic bingo this fall in an attempt to attract a younger crowd.
The average age of a bingo player in Quebec is 60 and lottery officials hope that by going digital younger players will be attracted to the game.
Rooms will open in Repentigny, Longueuil, Laval, Joliette and Quebec City, by the end of October.
Revenue from bingo games fell to $100 million in 2014 compared to $274 million in 2009.
The money is a key source of revenue for about 800 non-profit groups across Quebec which in turn have seen their income fall to about $20 million annually from $42 million over the same period.
