Montreal's Danny Maciocia is staying put.
He's decided to keep his job as head coach of the Carabins football team with the Université de Montreal.
It's been widely believed the former head coach of the Edmonton Eskimos might fill the vacant Alouettes' general manager's position.
Jim Popp resigned as GM.
Maciocia, a 49-year old Saint Leonard native, is said to be paid $200,000 a year as bench boss of the Carabins.
