A 26-year old male cyclist is in hospital after being hit by a car while riding a bike downtown overnight.
Montreal police say that a cyclist was heading southbound on Berri Street when he ran a red light at Saint-Antoine. A car travelling east on Saint-Antoine, driven by a woman in her late-twenties, couldn't get out of the way in time, according to eyewitnesses.
The man was rushed to hospital, and though police say he was concious while being transported there, his condition is described by police as "serious."
