Montreal police are looking for a man and woman they believe were involved in a robbery at a shop on Sherbrooke St. in N.D.G. in June.
Police say at around 9 p.m. on June 14, two suspects, a man and woman, were hovering around the cash area at the shop at the corner of Sherbrooke and Wilson Ave., observing how the cashier acted.
At one point, one of them ran behind the counter and made off with about $3,500 in cash, along with a smartphone and a Zebra-brand printer.
Both suspects made a quick exit and made off in a black sedan — possibly a Hyundai Elantra — and fled west on Sherbrooke St.
The female suspect is thought to be in her 40s, heavy-set, with dark brown hair. She was wearing beige flat shoes, a black shirt and black leggings. She was also carrying a beige purse.
The man is also said to be in his 40s, heavy-set, with a shaved head. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing black sandals, denim, shorts and a gray t-shirt with blue writing on it.
Anyone with information on the suspects is being asked to get in touch with Montreal police through their Info-Crime line at 514-292-1133.
