Next week, News Talk Radio, CJAD 800 will debut a new evening program — and two new voices.
The new program is called The Night Side, and it promises to be a mix of news, current events, interviews and plenty of listener interaction.
Splitting the hosting duties will be two veteran broadcasters, Jon Pole and Natasha Hall. Pole is a versatile broadcaster who's hosted music, sports and talk shows. He'll host the show on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Taking over the rest of the week will be Natasha Hall — who has worked for CTV Montreal, the Beat and the Montreal Gazette.
"I'm confident CJAD 800 listeners are really going to enjoy these two fresh voices," says CJAD 800's program and news director Chris Bury. "They are smart, fun and transparent broadcasters determined to create a compelling show. I anticipate really interesting subjects and discussions and can't wait to hear the feedback."
The Night Side replaces the Exchange, whose hosts, Dave Kaufman and Dan Delmar, are moving on. Kaufman is moving to London, England, to be with his girlfriend. Delmar is stepping away from the evening timeslot but will continue to be heard on the station as an analyst, pundit and fill-in host.
The Night Side debuts on Monday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m.
