The Plante Administration has announced that snow removal operations in Montreal will begin at 7 p.m. this (Wednesday).
It will cost taxpayers about $20 million dollars to remove the approximately 20 centimetres of snow that fell on the city this week.
Verdun Mayor Jean-François Parenteau who is also the Executive Committee member responsible for citizen services said this morning the process will take three to four days.
Parking restrictions will take place but the city will be offering free parking in several lots across the city.
More information on the snow removal operations is available at the City of Montreal Snow Removal website.
