The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling a brand of baby puree that has been sold across the country.
Some packages of President's Choice Organic brand Apple, Blueberry and Green Pea strained puree is affected by the recall due to a presence of dangerous bacteria. 128 ml packages with an expiry date of October 31st, 2017 should not be consumed and either be thrown out or returned to where it was purchased.
Recalled products may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, which may not look nor smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dizziness, blurred or double vision, and dry mouth.
So far, no illnesses in connection with the recall have been reported.
