Canadian snowboarder Laurie Blouin was carted off the Phoenix Park course after falling hard at the end of a training run Friday at the Pyeongchang Olympics.
The 21-year-old from Stoneham, Quebec was on the final jump of her run when her board got caught in a crack.
Blouin was placed on a stretcher and taken off the hill by sled.
"Canadian snowboarder Laurie Blouin fell during training this morning. She has been taken to the regional hospital as a precaution. She is conscious and alert and on her way back to the Village with a team doctor. Her condition will continue to be monitored" the Canadian Olympic Committee said.
The first time Olympian and reigning FIS World Championship is a favourite in both the Slopestyle and Big Air events.
