A third of Air Canada's flights were delayed by 15 minutes or more last year.
That's according to an annual report published by OAG Aviation Worldwide. It found that only 66.82% of the Montreal-based airline's flights left on time in 2018.
WestJet fared somewhat better — Canada's second-largest airline saw 76.26% of its flights depart on-time last year. That placed it tenth among North American airlines. The top three carriers on the continent were Hawaiian, Alaska and Delta Air Lines.
58 million flight records from around the world were analyzed by the organization as a part of their effort.
The most-punctual airline in the world, according to OAG's analysis, was Panama's Copa Airlines. 89.79% of their flights left on time last year.
