A popular West Island brasserie has had its liquor licence suspended.
The Manoir is prohibited from selling alcohol following a raid by the SAQ four years ago.
28 litres of hard liquor was found on site but the Manoir's licence only allowed the sale of wine and beer.
Owner Peter Sergkakis claimed the hard liquor was only used to make sangria, and was never sold to customers.
The Montreal Gazette reports that the ten day licence suspension will end this Friday at 1 p.m.
