A judge has ruled that the attempted murder trial of former Hells Angels leader Maurice Boucher and a fellow inmate at the Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines penitentiary will be moved from Saint-Jérôme to the more secure Gouin courthouse adjacent to the north end Bordeaux jail.
Boucher and René Girard are both convicted murders who are serving their time in the Special Handling Unit of Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines.
The pair is accused of trying to stab a fellow inmate to death last November.
The Journal de Montreal says they will be transferred to Bordeaux at the start of their preliminary hearing next year.
