The borough of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve has issued a boil water advisory following a water main break on Friday.
The affected area stretches north of Sherbrooke St. until the border with the borough of Anjou, and affects all homes and businesses east of Joseph-A.-Rodier St. until the borough of Montreal East
The borough says it isn't sure when the advisory will be lifted, but it is a preventative measure.
All water for consumption, including for washing vegetables or brushing your teeth, should be boiled for at least 60 seconds, the borough advised.
