There is a boil water advisory affecting some streets in Outremont and Plateau Mont Royal.
The advisory affects residents who live between 352 and 1090 Van Horne Avenue, between 6218 and 6300 Durocher Street, on the west side of Hutchison St. between 6128 and 6300 and the west side of Parc Avenue between 6080 and 6306.
Residents are being told to boil tap water for at least a minute before drinking it.
Borough councillor Mindy Pollak says the advisory is in effect for an indefinite period.
