Montreal police said they've made an arrest following Friday's spectacular armored truck robbery in Pointe Claire.
The Garda truck was rammed in the back by a front-end loader.
"The investigators of the major crimes division of the Montreal police arrested a 54-year old man this morning at around 5 o'clock. The man is known to police, he should appear in court tomorrow facing numerous charges concerning the heist that occured during last week involving an armored truck", said police spokesman Daniel Lacoursiere.
Another man is being sought.
Anyone with information leading to the other suspect is asked to call police, or Info Crime, at 514-393-1133.
It's not clear how much was stolen, but CTV reported the figure is roughly 200-thousand dollars.
