The Montreal Alouettes fired their head coach Jacques Chapdelaine and assistant coach and defensive coordinator Noel Thorpe Wednesday morning.
In a statement, the club announced General Manager Kavis Reed will serve as the interim head coach until the end of the season.
Defensive line coach Greg Quick, will now become defensive coordinator.
Quarterback coach Anthony Calvillo will call offensive plays until the end of the season.
The team says more coaches will join the group in the near future.
The Alouettes have lost four games in a row and have a season record of three wins and eight losses.
