A man arrested in Trinidad and Tobago returns to court this week to face charges connected to 13 home invasions around Montreal and Laval, and the murder of a painter shot twice during a robbery a decade ago.
Septimus Neverson will be back in court on Tuesday. He was arraigned Oct. 1 after arriving in Montreal in late September.
His arrest came after a lengthy investigation that involved both Montreal and Laval's police forces, plus Quebec provincial police, the RCMP and local police in Trinidad.
He faces a host of charges for allegedly carrying out over a dozen robberies around Montreal and Laval between 2006 and 2009.
He is also charged with the murder of Jacques Senecal, a painter who was shot in his Laval home during a robbery in 2006.
