Aeroports de Montreal is responding to reports of employees at Trudeau International showing signs of radicalization.
"At present, ADM has not been informed of any specific threat," the airport authority said in a statement. "If such were the case, ADM and its partners would immediately implement the necessary measures."
TVA Nouvelles reported on Tuesday four airport employees have recently had their access to secure areas revoked over security concerns.
Two of them, according to the network's investigative program "J.E.", had access until just recently.
One, before being transfered, had a strategic position with direct access to the runways and planes parked around the terminal building.
According to TVA, a police investigation showed that he regularly consulted pro-ISIS websites and had amassed an impressive amount of literature on military-caliber assault weapons.
The other, who worked in aircraft refueling before leaving Canada a few months ago, posted ISIS propaganda to his Facebook page, showing live killings in Mosul, Iraq.
Hidden camera footage broadcast on "J.E." Tuesday night showed an airport employee with a restricted area security pass, that likely had access to an empty Airbus plane without being searched and without going through a metal detector.
AdeM maintains "Montréal–Trudeau airport is unquestionably among the most secure locations there is."
"In addition to being regularly investigated and monitored, every time [employees enter a restricted area] they are subject to a random search and have their identity confirmed by iris-reading or digital fingerprint.
