If you really can't wait to cast your ballot for the Nov. 5 municipal election, there are polling places open now.
In Montreal, you can cast your ballot at the returning officer's office in your borough today, Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., or on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You can also vote in the advance poll on Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
If you still have your reminder card from Election Montreal, you can find the address of your polling station.
If you do choose to cast your ballot early, you'll have to bring a piece of government-issued ID with you, such as a health card, driver's licence, or passport.
Depending on your borough, you'll be given anywhere from two to five ballots.
Everyone will have to vote for a mayor and councillor, though in some places you'll also have to vote for a borough mayor and borough councillors.
Outside Montreal, advance polling stations will be open across the province on Sunday, though some cities and towns may offer the chance for you to cast your ballot earlier.
