An elderly man died in an accident inside the parking garage of a retirement home in Pierrefonds Tuesday.
According to police, the 79-year-old man's car hit a concrete pillar inside the garage on Anselme-Lavigne and René-Émard at about 5:40 P.M.
The man was taken to hospital where his death was confirmed. While it was first linked to the accident, investigators now believe the man suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel.
A coroner will confirm the cause of the man's death.
