A funding boost to help immigrants find work.
It's thanks to the Quebec government and the city of Montreal.
They say they'll spend 24-million dollars over 3 years.
Among other things, the money is earmarked for additional French-language training.
“Sometimes companies are looking for people don't know where to look and immigrants don't know necessarily where the jobs are, so what we need to do is make sure that meeting happens,” said Immigration and Diversity Minister David Heurtel.
Quebec's jobless rate stands at 5.5 per cent, but, it's 16 per cent among new arrivals.
