Montreal police homicide investigators are looking into the shooting death of a 20-year-old man in a residential neighborhood in Pierrefonds on Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. near the corner of Ramsay and Fredmir Sts.
The victim was shot in the upper body, but rather than wait for an ambulance, the victim was driven to hospital by friends.
Police responding to the 9-1-1 call actually crossed paths with the car near Pierrefonds Blvd. He was then rushed to hospital by emergency responders.
He died of his injuries overnight.
For now, police have no suspects, though they believe the shooting might have involved several.
