F1 organizers are offering you a big discount on general admission tickets for next year's race in Montreal to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The race began in 1978 so you'll be able to buy general admission tickets for the June 10, 2018 race for $19.78 starting at midnight this Sunday. The sale lasts 24 hours.
Organizers say such tickets usually cost $99.
Race promoters unveiled this morning an addition to the inscription painted on the tarmac of the Gilles-Villeneuve racetrack: "40 ans" was added to the greeting, "Salut Gilles" which is in reference to driver Gilles Villeneuve who won his first race there.
