Beaconsfield is investing $12-million to fix up its aging water mains and sewers.
Federal and provincial ministers were in town for the announcement. Each level of government is kicking in around four million dollars for the work.
Most of the money is going towards revamping 8000 metres of sewer pipes.
The rest is going towards updating water mains for drinking water - over 6800 metres of pipes. Some of the work has already been done and completed last fall.
