AMIQ is proud to announce the first edition of the Montreal Music Film Festival: Cinéma IV, which will take place from May 3 to 5, 2026, at Foufounes Électriques. Inspired by the now-defunct repertory cinemas, Cinéma IV celebrates the joy of experiencing music films in a theatre, collectively, like attending a concert.
The 2026 program offers a powerful selection of documentaries dedicated to major figures and influential music scenes, including several Montreal premieres. The opening day, Femmes Frontstage, highlights iconic artists, while the Black Monday evening pays tribute to the underground and punk spirit. The festival concludes with cult classics and must-see encores for film and music lovers alike.
